# Close the Loop. Win a Pocket.

Build an app, hand the simulator to your agent, and let Argent find and fix the bug. Record the process and win the Close the Loop challenge.

## Three steps to close the loop

No prior Argent experience needed - the tool handles the hard parts.

1. **Build an app** — Use any stack Argent supports: React Native, Expo, Swift, SwiftUI, Flutter, or Android. Ship a side project or use an existing app - your choice.
2. **Let your agent test it** — Run `npx @swmansion/argent init` and hand the simulator to your agent. Let it tap through the app, inspect, find the bug, fix it, and verify the fix - that’s the loop.
3. **Record it, post it** — Share your screen recording on X with #CloseTheLoop and tag @swmansion. We review every post and reply when your entry is on the wall.

## Three ways to win

We judge every entry against every category, so choose your own strategy: either pick one category and build for it, or go for the sweep.

- **Best overall** (1× Pocket) — The most impressive demo end-to-end. We’re looking at how well Argent closed the loop - from broken state to verified fix - the quality of the app, and how much the agent handled without intervention.
- **Best 3D** (1× Pocket) — The most creative use of 3D graphics - TypeGPU, Three.js or any other 3d framework. Bonus points if Argent debugs a visual glitch live on screen.
- **Least slop** (1× Pocket) — The cleanest agent run with the fewest retries, hallucinations, and unnecessary steps. We want to see your agent move fast and with precision - not thrash around.

Here’s what a great entry looks like, what disqualifies one, and how we pick the winners.

### How we judge

- **We look for** — Full loop coverage – broken state → fix → verify
- **Bonus points** — Creative app ideas, clean agent runs, real-world bugs
- **Disqualified** — Videos over 5 min, missing hashtag or @swmansion tag

### Rules

- **Post publicly with #CloseTheLoop** — Your submission must include a video demo on X (Twitter) or LinkedIn. Tag @swmansion - that’s how we track entries.
- **Max 3 submissions per person** — You can enter multiple times with different apps or approaches. We’ll judge each independently and consider every one for every category.
- **Software Mansion has final say** — Our team uses both objective criteria and subjective judgment. Decisions are final - no external reviewers or appeals. We’ll reply on every qualifying post.

### Tips

- **Show the loop, not just the result** — Start from the broken state and let us watch the agent work - tap, inspect, diagnose, fix, verify. That full round-trip is what we’re judging.
- **Keep it under 2 minutes** — The best demos are tight. We won’t consider videos over 5 minutes. Narration or a brief write-up helps us judge context faster.
