Official Terms and Conditions: #CloseTheLoop Competition
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Organizer
The competition (“Competition”) is organized by Software Mansion S.A. (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Competition Period
2.1. The Competition opens on October 6th, 2026 and closes on October 27th, 2026, 23:59:59 CEST (“Competition Period”). The Organizer reserves the right to prolong the duration of the Competition in its sole discretion, in each case providing relevant information and notice on the Competition website. (https://argent.swmansion.com/close-the-loop/)
2.2. Entries posted outside the Competition Period will not be considered.
2.3. Winners will be contacted via the medium used to submit their entry no later than November 6th, 2026.
3. Eligibility
3.1. The Competition is open to individuals worldwide who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
3.2. Employees of the Organizer, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
3.3. Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring that participation is lawful in their country of residence. The Competition is void where prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
To enter, you must complete all of the following steps during the Competition Period:
(a) Build an application using a technology stack supported by Argent (React Native, Expo, Swift, SwiftUI, Flutter, or Android). The application may be a new project or an existing one.
(b) Run npx @swmansion/argent init and use Argent to test the application in a simulator, including identifying a defect, correcting it, and verifying the correction.
(c) Record a screen recording of the process and publish it publicly on X (Twitter) or LinkedIn, including the hashtag #CloseTheLoop and tagging @swmansion.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
5. Entry Requirements and Limits
5.1. Each entry must consist of a video demonstration of no more than five (5) minutes in length. Videos exceeding this limit will be disqualified. A duration of under two (2) minutes is recommended.
5.2. Each entrant may submit a maximum of three (3) entries, each using a different application or approach. Each entry will be judged independently.
5.3. Entries must be the entrant’s own original work, or the entrant must hold all rights necessary to submit them.
5.4. Entries must not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
6. Categories and Judging
6.1. Every valid entry will be considered for each of the following categories:
- Best Overall: the most impressive end-to-end demonstration, assessed on how effectively Argent resolved the issue from a defective state to a verified fix, the quality of the application, and the degree to which the agent operated without human intervention.
- Best 3D: the most creative use of 3D graphics (including TypeGPU, Three.js, or any other 3D framework). Additional credit may be given where Argent is shown debugging a visual defect on screen.
- Least Slop: the cleanest agent run, with the fewest retries, erroneous outputs, and unnecessary steps.
6.2. Entries will be evaluated by the Organizer’s team using a combination of objective criteria and subjective judgment. Entries that show the complete loop (testing, inspection, diagnosis, correction, and verification) from the initial defective state, and entries accompanied by a brief written or spoken explanation of the workflow, may be viewed more favorably.
6.3. The Organizer’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition, including the eligibility of entries, their fit within each category, and the selection of winners, is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into, and no appeal or review by outside parties will be available, except where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
6.4. The Organizer reserves the right not to award a prize in any category if, in its reasonable opinion, no entry meets a sufficient standard.
7. Prizes
7.1. The winners of each category will receive one (1) Pocket personal AI assistant device (“Prize”).
7.2. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The Organizer may substitute a Prize with one of equivalent or greater value if the original Prize is unavailable.
7.3. A single entrant may win more than one category. However, in such a case only one (1) Prize shall be allocated to the winner.
8. Prize Delivery
8.1. Winners will be notified via direct message or reply on the platform used to submit the entry, no later than November 6th, 2026.
8.2. Winners must respond within 7 days of receiving the notification described in 8.1., and provide a valid delivery address and any other information reasonably required to deliver the Prize. If a winner fails to respond within that time, the Organizer may withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner.
8.3. The Prize will be shipped worldwide at the Organizer’s expense and is expected to be dispatched within 7 days of receiving the winner’s details. The Organizer is not responsible for delays or losses caused by third-party carriers.
8.4. The Organizer will be responsible for the payment of all taxes, duties, and charges that arise in connection with the awarding and delivery of the Prize, including any customs duties, import taxes, value added tax, and withholding taxes levied in the country of delivery, and will handle all related reporting and filing obligations required by applicable law. Winners will not be required to pay any such amounts in order to receive the Prize. The Organizer is not responsible for any personal tax liability of the winner that cannot lawfully be assumed by the Organizer, and winners are encouraged to seek their own tax advice where relevant.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1. Data controller. The Organizer is the controller of personal data collected in connection with the Competition.
9.2. Data collected. The Organizer may process your public username and profile information, the content of your entry, and, for winners, your name, contact details, and delivery address.

9.4. Sharing. Personal data will be shared only with service providers necessary to deliver Prizes (such as couriers and the Prize supplier) and as required by law. Data may be transferred outside your country of residence, in which case appropriate safeguards will be applied where required.
9.5. Retention. Personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and in any event no longer than 12 months after the close of the Competition, unless a longer period is required by law.
9.6. Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Requests may be sent to legal@swmansion.com

10.2. By entering, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to view, display, share, repost, and feature your public entry, including your username, on the Organizer’s websites, social media channels, and promotional materials in connection with the Competition and Argent.
10.3. You warrant that your entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, and you will indemnify the Organizer against any claim arising from a breach of this warranty.
11. Disqualification
The Organizer may disqualify any entry or entrant, without notice, if it reasonably believes that the entrant:
- submitted an entry not satisfying the formal requirements stipulated herein;
- is ineligible under Section 3;
- submitted content that is not original, is unlawful, or breaches Section 5.4; or
- acted fraudulently, used automated or deceptive means to gain an advantage, or otherwise breached these Terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition or the use of any Prize, including any loss arising from technical failures, platform outages, or lost or delayed entries.
12.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12.3. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, X Corp., LinkedIn, or any other social media platform. Entrants release those platforms from any liability in connection with the Competition.
13. General
13.1. The Organizer may amend these Terms, or suspend, modify, or cancel the Competition, if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary. Any changes will be published at the Competition website.
13.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
13.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
